Alchemy offers the opportunity to supply your characters with potions, scrolls, spellbooks or orbs, and upgraded manastones. Using materials that can be gathered in Atreia, the alchemist creates potent and useful additions sure to be sought after by all classes.

Learning Alchemy Edit

The fee to learn Alchemy is roughly 3,500 Kinah. Visit <Honir> (in Pandaemonium) or <Diana> (in Sanctum) to pay the fee and learn the skill. This unlocks all work orders from the Alchemy mentor as well as the level 1 craft, Craft: Lesser Elemental Water (Asmodian) for Asmodians and Craft: Lesser Elemental Water (Elyos) for Elyos. Completing work orders will increase your crafting level. Alternatively, crafting designs offers the opportunity to create potions, scrolls, food, or weapons that can be used or sold, and will also increase crafting skill levels. As with all crafts, you must talk to the Alchemy Master to learn higher levels of Alchemy.

Noble Alchemy Edit

When crafting spellbooks or orbs, there is a random chance to proc a noble version which typically have higher attributes and/or more manastone sockets than the normal version. Similarly, when crafting manastones, there is a random chance to proc a superior level manastone.

While a variety of aether, materials and gems are used by the alchemist, potions are a main focus for most crafters. Depending on your Essencetapping skill level, gathering any of these herbs will prove helpful.

Experting Edit

Once Alchemy level 399 is reached, a new work order is available ( <Steps Toward Alchemy Expert> [399p9] for Asmodians or Steps Toward Alchemy Expert [Elyos] [?] for Elyos). These quests start a 4 quest chain. The final quest grants a 400 Alchemy skill level.
