Earth Spirit? Water Spirit?

Many people have been attacked by rising numbers of Spirits roaming the area. Help Angreboda and Gullveig to reduce the number of Earth Spirits and Water Spirits on the Fall Road.

Walkthrough[]

After talking to Tyr, choose which type of spirit to hunt- the earth spirit choice rewards more xp than the water. Talk to the appropriate NPC to collect your reward. The choice will also affect followup quests.

"The view from the Observatory is spectacular, don't you think?

The ruins, the sparkling lake, the Nepra trees shrouded by fog. The beauty of it moves me to poetry!

Humans are reluctant to travel here because of the Nepra tree mist. Some think it creepy, but it's so lyrical! Shall I recite some of my verse?"

"I'm sure it's lovely, but..."

"Not one for poetry eh? No matter, someday you can read my book in Pandaemonium.

Humans are right to be cautious. There are spirits in these lands, and their numbers are increasing.

Now they've pushed out to the edge of Fall Road where they attack travelers."

"Why is that?"

"Simply put, there are too few of us and too many of them.

If it was just water and earth spirits, we could control their numbers. They've spawned others, though. Now there are soil spirits, terra spirits, lake spirits and mist spirits!"

We could use your talents here. Will you help us?"

"Perhaps it's the influence of the volcano, but the Earth Spirits rumble and frequently attack travelers.

Now that you're here, I'm most encouraged. I think I've gained a powerful ally!"

"What? Well, why didn't you say so?"

"I've come to hunt Water Spirits."

"Really? Did you just say you would hunt Water Spirits?

What a relief! I was worried about how to both guard the Observatory and harrow the Water Spirits--there are so many of them....
