After getting the quest, Kill the Rakeclaw Frillnecks which are nearby. Return to Leto to update. Next, head south of Tolbas Village, to Frillneck Woods. Kill 12 Giant Rakeclaw Frillnecks and return to Leto to collect the reward.

- "Ready for a really difficult task?
- The Frillneck population in the Southern Tolbas Forest% has exploded. I mean, those things are everywhere!"
- "Frillnecks?"
"Frillnecks?"- "Big mean lizards, in short. They're attacking travelers on the road now. People are afraid to go anywhere near the Southern Tolbas Forest.
- And they have poison in their claws, so a Frillneck wound can be fatal."
- "What can I do?"

- "Well, we need to reduce their population a bit. Of course that's only a stopgap measure, the way they're multiplying lately.
- Something's contaminating parts of the forest, and that may turn out to be the cause--we're still looking into it.
- In the meantime, I'd like you to thin out the Rakeclaw Frillnecks in the Southern Tolbas Forest."
- "I'll get right to it."

- "How did the Frillneck hunt go?
- I never said it'd be easy, did I? But every little helps."

- But I've been hearing reports that the Giant Rakeclaw Frillnecks are an even bigger problem--bigger, tougher, and a lot meaner.
- We still don't know why there are so many of them, but until we do..."
