LFG (Shift-V) or Looking for Group is a User Interface that allows searching and applying for groups. The default will open the window with <Group>, <Alliance>, <Mentor> and <Always Display my post> checked on. Any of those can be unchecked after opening the window, and remain unchecked when it is next opened.

Searching LFG Edit

Entering a keyword or a level range can narrow down the list in LFG when there are many postings. The default range is within 10 levels high and low, but that can easily be altered. If the <Auto search when window closed> is checked, closing the window will continue the search and notify you in the chat window.

Posting for a Group Edit

With the <Recruit Group Members> tab, groups can post a description of the type of group needed, and recruit help for Instances or harder boss fights. Clicking the <Send Offer> button will open up a box to enter the description, and type - Group, Alliance or Mentor. Then click <Register> to post the message. To remove the post, use the <Delete Post> button.

Apply for Group Edit

To apply for a group, click on the post, and use the <Apply for Group> button. If a posting is in LFG, clicking on the <Recruit Group> message in chat and then the <Apply for Group>. If the leader choses to accept your request, you will get a message asking you to join. If not, there is a rejection message.
