The Red Sky Legion was an legendary Daeva legion that existed before the Cataclysm, when Atreia was still whole and led by the 12 Empyrean Lords. Brigade General Virkel and the legionaries served Lady Triniel. Virkel was a templar, which was peculiar as Triniel had never appointed a templar to be her Brigade General before him (templars only served Nezekan at that time). Nezekan (Lord of Templars) sent Virkel to protect and serve his love Triniel.
They protected Brusthonin from Lord Beritra 's attacks. Virkel and his troops eventually managed to successfully drive the Balaur out, but the the entire legion perished in the process. The legion is now at rest at the Legend Shrine in Brusthonin.
