Stopping the Tayga requires slaying the leader. Slay Iron Paw Kalsek and bring his claw to Bragi.

Walkthrough[]

After getting the quest, go back out into the Morheim Snow Field, and find the cave to the northwest. Slay Kalsek and take <Kalsek Claw>. Return to Bragi to collect your reward.

Initial Dialogue[]

Bragi

"Thinning out the Taygas wasn't enough.

They've become too bold under the influence of one particular Tayga---it's time to to de-claw them."

"How?"

"There's a cave near the Morheim Snow Field. Iron Paw Kalsek, the leader of the Tayga, has been seen there. If it is slain, they'll be a long time recovering.

What do you think? Will you give us a hand?"

"As tough as regular Taygas are, Iron Paw Kalsek is even tougher. Bring back Kalsek Claw as proof of his death.

Pulling out his claws will terrify the Tayga!"

"On my way."

"Surely you aren't afraid...?

If a Daeva can't stand up to a Tayga, imagine how the residents will feel?"

Summary[]

When you returned after hunting the Tayga, Bragi asked you to slay their leader so the rest would not dare to come near the fortress again.

You went to its cave lair, defeated it, and brought back its claw as proof.
